Dang. This thing is fantastic. I've been missing out all these years.

Glad technology has finally caught up to the point where something like this can bring an old vehicle up to date.

Probably one of the easiest setup experiences I've had. No wires for the camera. Head unit just plugs into 12V power and it automatically connects to the camera. Paired my phone and carplay works super quick.

The only downside I can think of is that the backup camera doesn't come on by itself.

That is expected because this doesn't wire up to the cars systems at all.

On the plus side, you can view the camera whenever you want.

The camera quality is very good and works decently well at night.

Battery seems to be pretty beefy and the solar panel is appropriately sized. Be sure to park it where it gets good sun.

Fairly pricey, but worth it if you need something simple that works and don't want to run 50ft of wire.

My husband installed this backup camera on our RV and its been fantastic! The wireless setup made installation so much easier then dealing with cables. Signal stability has been reliable with no noticeable delay between camera and monitor. That matters when trying to move slowly and precisely with a trailer attached. The option to keep the rear view on continuously is also useful for keeping an eye on things while driving.

Overall, this has been a great upgrade for a trailer that had zero rear visibility before. Easy install, clear picture, and a whole lot less stress when pulling out near fences and posts. Definitely one of those upgrades that immediately proves its worth.
